Each FlixBus has plenty of space for your luggage. To make your trip as pleasant and safe as possible, there are some regulations to regard.
For safety reasons, you must stow your soft bag or backpack underneath your seat, or in the overhead compartment above your seat.
Note: Carry valuables (identification, electronics, etc.) with you in your small soft bag or backpack.
Your check-in luggage is to be stowed in the luggage compartment before you enter the bus. Your bus driver is happy to help you with that. We recommend labelling your bag with your name and address.
We strongly recommend clearly labelling all luggage with your name, address, and telephone number. If you need a luggage tag you can download and print one here.

This includes large music instruments, sports luggage, etc. Since there is limited space for special luggage on the bus, we recommend booking your special luggage as early as possible.
Special Note: Surfboards
Surfboards are treated as special luggage. The length should not exceed 200 cm. Surfboards must be securely packed in shock-absorbent material with padded protection around the fin area. We recommend removing fins where possible and placing them in an enclosed compartment. Advance booking is required.

You can bring your bike on most of our trips, but the availability of bike spots may differ by route and country. Some countries don’t allow bikes on buses. Try adding a bike to your booking to see if the service is available for your route. Note that e-bikes, tandems, and tricycles are not allowed.

You can bring 1 small instrument per passenger instead of your small soft bag or backpack.

How many prams can I take with me?
As prams are considered special luggage, you can bring 1 pram per passenger.

Prams are transported for free.
How do I book a pram?
Please call the customer service after the booking to register the pram, at the earliest 48 hours before departure.
Special Note
Your pram must be foldable in order to be transported in the luggage compartment.
Wheelchairs and walking aids will be transported free of charge by FlixBus. We recommend that you submit a contact form at least 36 hours before your departure to ensure there is available space on your journey. You may still travel on board if you don’t contact us in advance, however there is a risk that the space may be occupied or that the coach is at full capacity, which would require you to travel at an alternative time.
No, we do not transport animals on our coaches, with the exception of service animals for persons with disabilities.
