FlixBus app: Booking, done right
FAQs
Is the FlixBus app free?
How do I buy tickets in the app?
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, enter your route, date and passengers, pick a departure time (adding a seat or extra luggage if needed), and pay. Your digital ticket is ready straight away.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Your ticket is stored in the app. Just show it on your phone when you board.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
You can cancel up to 15 minutes before departure and receive the value as a voucher. To travel on a different date or route, cancel your trip and rebook with your voucher. Changes count as cancellations, so fees may apply.
What happens if my bus is delayed?
You’ll get a push notification with the new departure time, and your trip status will show the delay. Keep notifications on to stay updated.
What real-time updates does the app offer?
You can follow your coach live on the map with its estimated arrival time, get instant alerts about delays or disruptions, and see your exact boarding point, including the platform number where available. Your trip status shows whether the coach is on time, delayed, boarding or departed.
How can I get support?
Use the help section in the app for FAQs, lost and found, and contact options. For anything else, the FlixBus Help Centre has a contact form and full guidance for before, during and after your journey.
